We’ve handed out a fair few press passes and name badges at a host of events we’ve been involved with including media launches, consumer events such as Crufts and Nutrition & Health Show, PA’s with celebrity chefs and TV personalities, charity events, staging open public access events in locations such as Victoria Square in Birmingham, through to stakeholder events in Westminster with MP’s.
You can’t beat the feeling when a client secures publicity on TV or in print, and over the years the spottydog team has landed publicity for clients across the media landscape – from This Morning, Today Programme, BBC Breakfast, Radio 1, Radio 2, The Guardian, The Times and Newsnight, through to trade stories in The Engineer, Drapers, Retail Week, Recruiter and a host of other media. The team at spottydog started their careers in the world of PR. So we know how the media works, how to write and how to come up with creative ideas to get stories seen and heard. But the media landscape has changed so we have had to develop our skills so we’re multi-media, multi-dimensional and multi-tasking. So we do PR and still speak to journalists, but most of our campaigns now will probably include digital PR tactics, social media management, blogs and we’ll also think about your SEO and maybe even look at your analytics. As the media landscape has evolved, so have our skills, but not our ability to knock back the champagne as Patsy and Edina taught us at the school of PR.
